“Trouble always starts when you are out of proportion with who you are talking to.”
What a lovely book this was. A stunning debut middle-grade novel all about the wonders of books.
Even if you don’t often read a lot of books from this age group, this one is worth your time. It’s super sweet and full of adventure. It’s the perfect read to cuddle up with a warm cup of tea and piles of blankets on a cold night.
This is one of those books about books that fills you up with joy and reminds you why you love reading so much. I can’t wait to see what Anna James does next, especially if it’s part of the Pages & Co. series.
I don’t have a single bad thing so say about this story – all I want to say is read it and thank me later.
