-Quotation to come-
Firstly, this isn’t necessarily the kind of book that I would normally read – I’m not really one for love stories – but I was drawn to this because of its LGBT+ characters and it seemed a little quirky which I liked.
I gave it 3 stars, ultimately, because I felt like there needed more going on for the characters to show themselves more. They weren’t lacking in depth, but I feel that perhaps I would have got more from them if their situations were varied more.
That is not to say I did not enjoy it, I very much did. It was a breath of fresh air and I especially appreciated how subtly their lives intertwined without losing their own individual stories.
If you’re looking for an enjoyable LGBT+ fiction focussed on love stories or a less traditional ‘chick lit’ then this really is a treat.
