👋 I’m Kate.
🗓 24 years old.
📍 Cardiff, Wales.

“Little Green Teapot” was born during my second depressive episode in my early twenties. Reading and writing formed a significant part of my recovery and continue to take up the majority of my self-care routine. I’m a keen advocate of mental health awareness and this part of my blog aims to shed some light on the realities of depression and anxiety as well as provide me with a creative outlet to talk about books and other aspects of my life.

I’ve been reviewing my finished books since January 2017 and you can find all the books I’ve read since then on my index page. On occasion, I receive books from publishers free of charge before their publication in order to review. Any books which I have received via this process will be made clear in the review.

My favourite genres include dystopian, young adult, middle-grade children’s, literary classics and contemporary fiction. I also read lots of non-fiction on topics such as mental health, feminism, and popular science.

On a daily basis, you can keep up with my reading adventures on Instagram and Goodreads.

If you’re interested in working with me, please get in touch. I’m always happy to hear from new people!

Happy reading ✨

Please remember that no one’s experience of mental illness will ever be the same as another’s, this is just mine and may not be the same to yours.

None of the photos I use are my own except the “little green teapot”
